Sleeping - Kulhan style

It has been commented by a family member that all he ever sees is pics of the girls sleeping. I would like to point out to the childless family member that sleep is at a premium with one baby let alone two. Here are some pics of how we've all been sleeping....Storm with Sydney.
Not my finest hour (I left out the pic with the double chin business). Me with Sydney as usual.

Both Sydney and Kendall have taken to burying their faces while they sleep in our arms. This is Syd's attempt to avoid the spotlight.

And again. Lunch at Gordon Biersch. Knew the boob job would come in handy for something.

Kendall with Mavis. She is such a snorer now. She takes after us all.

And last but not least here is one of the cutest sights that I have seen in a while. I was waiting up to feed the babies for their last feed of the night. Storm had gone to sleep and the dogs had followed. So I went in to go do something and I spied Oscar sleeping (where I normally would be) next to Storm. He never moved in the time that it took me to get the camera and take a couple of pics. He was so comfortable...Storm never knew.

Visitin' time at the Pumpkin Patch

So last weekend (I know I've taken my sweet time writing about it!) we, the Kulhan family and Mavis went to a pumpkin patch thingey in North Las Vegas with the Galvins and BJ and Liana.

I had these great intentions of taking some family fall pics with the bales of hay and pumpkins all around but it was not to be.

The girls fell asleep on the way there which was great to a point but once there I was not going to wake them for all the tea in China, especially Syd. Kendall did end up waking up but while she wasn't in a bad mood she wasn't in the best of moods either so I just posed with her for a pic or two in front of a pumpkin.

I had wanted to put one of mum's quilts down and take some family pics but we'll just have to settle with the girls in their stroller and us posing in front of the haybale maze.

You can just see Kendall's (in green) face. Syd (in pink) stayed asleep for the entire visit at the pumpkin patch and then for a late brekky at Mimi's cafe.

New to this

So finally I have succumbed to a new technology. It seems simple enough so we'll see if I continue to regularly post news about our family in Vegas.

So sleep is still a scarce commodity at the moment. We have help in the form of Mavis (mother-in-law) thankfully but between the two girls it's pretty much all hands on deck all the time. Especially with Sydney fighting sleep all day long.

So, the key is finding time to keep everyone up-to-date but it will be much easier with one central blog rather than separate emails (sorry everyone conserving and consolidating time is really important for me! I swear I'm not lazy - just time deprived!)
